So yesterday it appears I endured an earthquake.

It was about 12:54am when Barry and I were watching Shaun Of The Dead that we felt the house begin to shake. At first I thought it was next door running down the stairs ferociously but soon decided that it was too big to be attributed to normal factors. It was then that we deduced that it was an earthquake (this is making it sound much more intense than it was [and that comment made it seem more homosexual than it was]). It lasted about 10-15 seconds long and it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. When I usually think of something being shaken I attribute it to a smaller force, such as someone rocking a car or a lorry thundering down the street, however, this was completely different as it was the ground itself that was shaking. I still can't really believe that it happened. Apparently it's been felt all around the country and it's the strongest one in the UK since one in Wales in 1984. I wanted another one after it had happened but alas, my pleas went unanswered, damn you lazy nature.

Other than that nothing else seems all that interesting. I've been trying to do some more of my Dissertation which has gone alright; i've finished the first of five chapters and my tutor said it was good. Now i'm on what I think will be the most challenging chapter to write, I had to change what title i'd given the chapter in my Dissertation Report (a report [you don't say] that details what i'm going to be writing about) so that it will be a bit easier. I've done a couple of hundred words on it tonight but none of it's tied together. I might try and see him tomorrow and ask for some advice. After this section though I think it'll be a little simpler because the other topics are a bit easier to describe and link important points. Hopefully it'll all make more sense in a couple of weeks.

I've rediscovered my love for Mr. Kipling's French Fancies; even though i'm not a cake person I think they're one of the greatest culinary treats ever created. Them and Tooty Frooties which i've also purchased.

I was annoyed earlier today because I finished my lecture at 11 and then went to the library to get some books out and kill time until I met my tutor at 12:30. So I sat reading the Guardian in the library (they have all the days real papers [no red tops] so I usually go in there and read them rather than buy them) until about 11:50ish when I wandered slowly to my lecturer's office. He had just arrived and there was someone already waiting there so I had to wait outside for about 30 minutes and was growing increasingly hot. Anyway, I saw him and talked about Dissertation then made my way home where I saw a friend who said they'd meet me in the library in about 2 hours so I went home and had some dinner whilst watching Scrubs and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (my favourite show). After 2 hours I hadn't heard anything but I thought i'd leave it for a while longer. They then contacted me at 5:15 saying they'd probably be another hour or so. I continued waiting and didn't hear anything until they rang at 7:48 saying that they had been watching TV and had been too tired to move so they wanted to reschedule it until tomorrow. I was quite annoyed because i'd given up my afternoon to meet them when I could've been doing work on my Dissertation and they didn't contact me until after they'd initially said.
I calmed down shortly afterwards. Then I got angry again. Then followed a state of nonchalance, a state I often carry around with me. That's why I don't usually shout at people or get angry (unless i'm tired, then I get grouchy) because i'll think back on it later and see it as petty or selfish. Maybe I should be more angry, although last time that happened there was a man on fire and I stabbed a man in the heart. I should possibly find myself a safe house or a relative nearby to lay low. Who knows? Not I, not you, not me.

Anyway, thank you for reading, hopefully it's made your day more entertaining/fantastic/loving/fishandchips/worthwhile.

P.S. I've fallen in love with The Big Bang Theory. It's on Channel 4 tomorrow at 10 and i'd recommend it. Although if you're reading this several days after Thursday (28th Feb) you may find it isn't on at 10 tomorrow, but don't blame me. Blame Spartacus.

A week and a bit ago something amazing happened. I shall tell you this tale of brilliance through the medium of dance (1).

I was in my kitchen making some lovely, lovely toast when the solitary piece of bread in the toaster (i'd already made two slices and I only wanted one more) popped up and out of the slot it had toasted in and landed in the other slot. I was quite amazed. So amazed in fact that I decided to take a photo, here it is. Quite astounding I'm sure you'll agree.

Other than watching Toast Olympics I've been working away on my Dissertation like un petit chien. I've done 1,700 words so far but who knows if it's any good. I'll be pleased when it's all finished but that's still 7,000 words and nearly two months away. The joy leaks out of me.

In other other news, England beat France in the rugby and Eduardo broke his leg horrifically in the Birmingham vs. Arsenal match. Apparently he'll be out for at least a year and it looked horrific.

It's already 2am and even though going to bed now would make it a relatively early night, I probably won't be able to sleep for another couple of hours and therefore be awake for quite some time. Maybe I should've explained a bit more - i've had trouble sleeping for the past couple of weeks, I think it's because when I go to bed I think too much. I'll think about what i'll be doing and what i'd like to be doing tomorrow and various other things that keep me lively. So i'll usually end up looking at the clock at 4am and being angry for not being able to sleep. This does not help the matter. Consequently, i'll end up waking up past 1pm and then most of the day will be gone. I'd even be happy just waking up at 12pm, it's not much before but it feels a lot earlier.
What else has been happening? I'll tell you. I've been working.
That's basically what i've been doing for the last....5 days. I decided that I should start doing my work otherwise it'll be hanging over my head and it might get too late if I leave it too long. I also thought that if I get the work done I just have to sit in lectures until Christmas which will be nice. Anyway, I started the first of my 3 3,000 word essays on Friday (9th (November (2007))) and didn't get off to a great start. By the end of Friday i'd only managed to get about 300 words done because I was having trouble with the introduction. I thought I should take a proper look at how to write an introduction so I was trying to use all of the techniques listed there and apply them to the data I was working with but it was quite difficult so I got bogged down a lot. The next day I tried a bit more at an introduction but decided I might as well work on the essay proper so that I can at least start writing some lovely, delicious words. So that's what i've been doing since then which, unfortunately, has caused me to turn down various opportunities to have fun. I've done 2,600 words at this moment so i'm hoping to finish it tomorrow but it's still going to need a lot of rewording and moving stuff around. Even so I want to start the next essay by the end of the week at least. I'm hoping that i'll find it easier to write than this one and i'll be able to get it done in a couple of days but it depends on the material i'm referencing and how much I find interesting. For the current essay I keep thinking of books i've read before and how they can relate to the question, but then when I try to look for them I can't find anything that says anything along the same lines. So most of my time is spent looking through books for extracts that support my points.
i can't wait until i've finished this essay, it's annoyed me so much and because it's all i'm doing now I lose all motivation to do anything else due to my foul mood.
Oh well, only 2 more 3,000 word essays and a 1,500 word dissertation report for December 10th and 7th respectively. Christmas will be welcome relief, but on the other hand it will remind me how I only have another term before I finish uni for good and that makes me sad because most of the people I know up here will most likely disappear, I live too far away to keep in any genuine contact and the environment is unlike anything else with everyone basically your own age and doing the same thing, it's perfect for talking to random people. That's been my favourite thing of the last 2 years, attempting to meet someone new after each lecture. They probably think i'm quite strange and that's before they get to know me. Luckily i've realised this in time to embrace every moment, even when they're shit, because they won't last forever...unless I fail lots. Even then i'll be with people a year younger than me, then again younger girls have a certain appealing quality to them....I feel like Matthew Kelly, booooo.

I've also heard my housemates brother and girlfriend break up in the room about a foot from mine at 3am. There was a lot of crying from both parties and even worse was the fact that I needed the toilet but felt it would be inappropriate to exit at such a delicate moment. They didn't sort it out until 4am by which time I nearly ruined the carpet. I say 'sort it out', the fact was they broke up and her father came to pick her up from Bradford at 3am and got here at 5am ish. Meanwhile my housemate had come back from his girlfriends to try and sort something out and was still awake at 4am when he had to get up for work at about 9. His brother stayed until this morning and they went out Monday and came back and weren't too well. I had to wander through the living room for a shower at about 3 with the lights off in case his brother, who was asleep on the sofa, woke up and made vomit come out of his mouth. Matt (housemate) was in bed all of today and didn't look too good when he surfaced.
Good news, I managed to fix the light in my room by taking the bulb out of the, exceedingly high, light and then putting it back in again. It is bright.

Tomorrow might be time for drinking and "dancing", i'm glad I don't have to watch myself.

Poo's, now it's 2:40am, time to not be able to sleep I think.

Thank you all for reading.

A couple of nights ago I had a dream that I was driving the Nissan GT-R in some backwater town, it was brilliant though because it was a rocket and the brakes worked (they never usually work in my dreams so i'll be constantly rolling towards a wall while i'm jumping on the brakes). My sister was in the car as well I believe.

Last night I dreamt that I pulled into the tennis courts opposite Bradley's house and they were filming Prison Break so Wentworth Miller was randomly wandering around. I was going to get his autograph but a fair suddenly sprung up so I had a look around there instead. At some point i'd been given a guitar which was then stolen by someone. I later found out that Kia had stolen it and smashed it so I was quite angry and was shouting at him for a while. Then I think I was wandering around Berko when Bradley was riding a horse-drawn carriage after getting married. It was very strange as most of my dreams tend to be.

Other than dreaming i've been going to lectures and meeting as many people as possible after realising that after I leave uni there won't be the same opportunity to talk to so many people my age so I thought i'd make the most of it.

The rugby was awesome yesterday too after we beat the Australians 10-12 as massive underdogs. Now we have to play France, who knocked out New Zealand (the favourites) so it should be interesting. My throat was sore yesterday though because of the amount I was shouting at the TV during the match and after we'd won.

I also randomly listened to some Pavarotti (Nessun Dorma) which was strangely moving.

The past few days have yielded somewhat beneficial results. Most importantly I got a new bed, however, that meant that I had to move my old bunk beds out of my room and then most of the surrounding stuff too so there'd be room to construct the new bed. I left this until the night before and I wasn't sure where most of the big items in my room would go so I was a bit annoyed at not being able to move everything. I did move enough though and the bed came on Thursday afternoon while my sister was asleep and my dad was at work so the work was left to my mother and I. It wasn't terribly difficult in the end which was definitely a good thing and now it looks lovely. We hadn't previously bought any covers or pillows so we went to Dunelm Mill in Apsley, just past McDonalds basically. As we walked in the door I turned round to see a black SLR drive past, my sister turned round quickly, but alas, it was too late. I ended up getting a duvet, duvet cover, two pillows and a sheet so I can be a ghost. Boo! My sister got a table and chair and my mum bought a table & chairs set for the kitchen which was probably the worst constructed item i've ever had the misfortune to encounter. We came back and fitted everything before realising that I needed two more pillowcases so we went back today. On the way, whilst turning out of The Clump (the road you turn up to get to my house just after the M25), a red Ford GT with white stripes pulled out just down the road and rumbled past. It was a delightful moment, but I was unable to follow as there were cars following close behind. It was unfortunate because by the time i'd gotten out it was far down the road and wasn't going on the motorway. I got the pillowcases I needed and also got a slightly bigger table than my sisters which had space for my laptop and mouse so I should be able to start Quake 4 sometime soon.
I'm also thinking of buying Half-Life 2 again but this time from Steam themselves because there's quite a good deal on and hopefully coming directly from their online site will mean that the code would work. I have yet to purchase it but I am considering it.

There's still loads of my stuff in the spare room which i'll have to move back into my room at some point especially since my Nan is coming to stay on Monday. I'm not particularly looking forward to it because there's not that much in my room at the moment and if I bring all of that stuff in it will most likely look messy which will annoy me.

The Parole Officer arrived today (DVD, i've not been a bad boy) which is very entertaining if I remember correctly but I can imagine i'll add it to the pile of DVD's I haven't watched yet. Star Stories is on in a minute, it's Simon Cowell this week so i'm expecting piss-taking of the highest variety. A little bit later is the Friday Night Project with David Gest which will be strange but entertaining because he's quite crazy quite often.

Hooray for TV.

This post will be mainly for photos as i've taken a few from yesterday and it's easier showing them than trying to remember my thoughts and feelings throughout the day. They'll all be links too i'm afraid as LiveJournal seems to take a while to properly fit the photos to the page which makes it look strange.

Anyway, I found a mortal enemy of mine in the toilet - 1, 2 and 3 who has been there for the past few nights now. I used to see him every now and then but he seems to be around more often now, his hunger for the toilet obviously grows. I also took some other pictures of a smaller spider but I deleted them because you couldn't really see anything. Other than taking random pictures I watched the Tekken movie which was quite strange but entertaining and was inspired to buy Tekken Tag. I found a good one on eBay and was winning until about 2 seconds from the end when some bastard snipered me. I'm bidding on another so hopefully my fate will be better with that one.
I have to get up tomorrow to sign for something that couldn't be delivered before, it's for me so I think it will be The Ataris tickets.

I can't think anymore so I shall leave you with this image of some crows plotting #.

Today was strangely productive for a dull Monday alone at home although it took a while for me to get into the working mood. I was woken up at 11:30 by someone trying to deliver something (most likely The Ataris tickets) but I was still in bed and I was too tired after plentiful football to get up. I eventually woke at about 12:30 and found that my Manic Street Preachers DVD had arrived after buying it on the 11th so I enjoyed watching two hours of their various videos later on. There wasn't much on TV so I put War of The Worlds on but got bored quite quickly and installed the internet on my laptop so I could update the antivirus and all the other programs that were getting old. I fannied around for a bit longer on there until my Mum and Sister came home from work and school. My sister then went to see her friends in a play somewhere so I sorted out my Evo magazine collection which didn't take long but it was satisfying nonetheless. I also collected the randomly strewn issues of Top Gear magazine around the house and put them in order underneath the Evo's, I don't think i've ever actually bought a Top Gear magazine, but i'm subscribed to Evo so I thought it a good idea to keep Evo on top, ready to be updated. On a side note, Clarkson sounds concerned about Top Gear and what it has become http://www.topgear.com/blogs/planettopgear/040-series-10-its-up-to-you/. Anyway, I found Evo #98 which completed the run from #97 (the issue i'm reading now) to #104 (which I one day hope to read), it ended up looking like this. Also, retrieving that photo from my camera reminded me how many strange photos i'd taken and not shared with anyone, for instance 1 and 2 the second of which I found on the box my Puma shoes came in.
After tidying my masses of magazines I still have to read I started thinking about the 5-a-side I was supposed to playing in the evening for my Dad's team. I was really tired because i've been quite active recently (steady now) and was thinking I couldn't be bothered so my Mum told Davee that I didn't want to play and he was quite disappointed because their best player had dropped out with a toe injury so they'd be weakened. It wasn't that I didn't want to play, I was caught in two minds about it but in the end I decided that if it was the other way around my Dad would play so I decided to lend them my services. It was the most important match of the season because they were playing the team that was level on points so whoever won that match would win the championship. It started off quite evenly and they had a few chances but failed to convert them. I started as sub because i'd only played one match prior to tonight but I scored the opening goal just after I came on. Hooray! I didn't really do that much, a decisive pass found me unmarked and I slotted the ball between the keepers legs. The game went on and got more and more scrappy, especially because the other team are known for their less than friendly tackling. The referee was also a useless piece of shit wanker who didn't give any decisions to us and stood there when a decision needed to be made. I got crunched twice which we were rewarded free kicks for but some really obvious decisions went against us. Fuck him. Prick. I'm additionally angry at him because he's quiet all game and then suddenly when I take a free kick a couple of meters away from the incident he asked me if I was deaf. So I stared at him fiercely for the next 5 minutes. To cut a long (and probably boring story for you) short we won 5-1 with them scoring in the last seconds which was an outstanding result considering both sides hadn't lost a game before that match. We also played a friendly against another team after that match who didn't turn up to their match against us earlier in the season. They were young and we destroyed them even though we were pretty tired. Joy.
The previous days had been similarly exerting, for example, on Saturday me and Squire Bradders went to Adam's to see the new Shelby Mustang GT 350 replica (loud as shit and wobbles when revving hard) and this cheeky beggar which looks a lot more beautiful in the metal. After much salivating from me and Bradley, we went to Tesco (via an Ostrich farm which was disappointingly deserted) to get some burgers and bangers for a BBQ. Upon returning to his house we set off on a massive walk with the football practically around the grounds of Chequers, we actually had some security people come to see what we were up to in a Defender Landy which was quite funny. We were playing football in their fields though. Eventually we got to the place for the BBQ and started cooking. Unfortunately the portable BBQ was shit and we only managed to cook 3 burgers on it before it got too cold so we left the half-cooked meat for the foxes and Bradley pissed on the BBQ to put it out. Also, somewhat foolishly, we'd only taken 1 beer each as a drink so we were extremely thirsty on such a hot day. As we were planning our route back I kicked the ball to Bradley who didn't see it and so it started rolling down a massive hill. Adam tried to kick it up the hill but was off balance and sliced it down the hill to which Bradley gave chase. Adam and I tried to offer him assistance but we were too busy pissing ourselves watching Bradley fly through this mini forest of trees receiving scratches galore chasing the ball. When he eventually caught up with it he was completely sliced and halfway through the downhill forest. We had to make a decision whether to either go back and take a different route from the top of the hill or try to force our way through the rest of the thorns and thistles to the bottom. We opted for the latter. It took a while to find the best route to minimise the amount of death received but we eventually did get out to find ourselves at the top of another hill. Bradley thought that the best way to go down it would be to run, however, little did he know that the hill was covered in mole hills and tiny tree stumps that unsettled your foot as you ran. He reached the bottom with no injury (luckily, I wasn't carrying him back) but Adam and I treated the situation with a little more subtlety. We then climbed a fence onto a golf course, where Adam "borrowed" a sign saying 'Keep Off The Grass' (which actually looks very effective in his back garden) and eventually had to climb over a barbed wire fence to get into a field with plenty of sheep in. Just before we reached the fence Adam and I pooed ourselves quite a bit because it was about 9pm (dark) and a black bag looked a lot like a dog was sitting staring at us. We found an area of fence that was suitably weakened and while Adam held the top line of wire open I held the second down, forming a space for someone to clamber through. Bradley got through with minimal fuss, however, while Adam was climbing through I somehow slipped and let go of the barbed wire which rocketed up to somewhere near his gentlemen's quarters. Thinking quickly, Bradley grabbed it with his free hand and saved Adam from receiving some unwanted lower pain. They helped me up from the other side of the fence, I was otherwise immobilised due to the position I had fallen into and I attempted to crawl through. Unfortunately, my trailing leg became caught and I ended up cutting myself on the fence, it wasn't too serious this photo makes it look worse because it's close up. We returned to Adam's through various fields and were happy to relax on his extremely comfortable sofa. I made everyone tea and saw Adam's Dad standing up in the Mini Moke (whilst it's being driven) with a Biggles esque hat on. It was hilarious. We watched Revolver from about 20 minutes in and didn't understand what the shit was going on then I drove me and Bradley home at about 1:15am.
The next day Adam picked me up from mine and we went to Bradley's to play football. We fannied around for about an hour and a half when 3 of Pete's friends challenged us to a match. We accepted and won about 5-2 but they scored the decisive 'next goal wins' goal. We went back to his house from there and after being attacked by the dog again tried to watch 12 Monkeys upstairs. Adam was the only one really watching it and kept asking me questions although I could only tell him that I was fannying around a bit too much when I watched it at Neema's to understand what was going on. I was also watching another Best of Top Gear so my attention was elsewhere. At around 10 something we went to The Green Manne pub instead of the Pineapple because it's a lot closer to Bradley's and talked rubbish, mainly about car projects in the summer. We parted ways at probably 11:30 and Adam dropped me off at my house after destroying an old Merc C180 who didn't take kindly to that and overtook as Adam turned up the Clump. He went back to uni Monday morning (technically yesterday now I suppose) and might not be back for this weekend which means he'll miss the Gumball 3000 on Sunday. It's certainly come around quickly.

Anyway, I should end this now because I still need a shower to wash the blood off my knee after being fouled in football.

I seem to update quite sporadically, i'll update but then leave it for ages before I say anything else. For what reason? I don't rightly know, will it change? Possibly. Do I smell cookies? I hope not.

Tuesday afternoon I went to pick my sister up from school and took Evo (November '06) with me in case she wasn't out straight away. In order for me to read properly I actually bought a ticket this time. Even though it's only 20p I never bother because the wardens aren't usually around and if you do see one you can get out then and buy a ticket. However, I thought that because I would be reading I may not see the blokey coming and receive a fine of some variety. In the end she did take 15 minutes to come out so I managed to read the start of the article about the 350Z GT-S, Z4M and the Cayman S although there's still plenty left. Anyway, I got home and ate the rest of my dinner which I had left in the oven at 2:55 to pick my sister up and was surprised to find that it was still warm after an hour of negligence. Shortly after i'd finished eating a certain Bradley-Kidd arrived with Hayley to go to the pub so I put some jeans on (I was originally wearing shorts) and off we went to pick up Dick. The pub was practically empty and because it was such a nice day we decided to sit outside. This proved to be somewhat of a bad idea because it was quite windy and coupled with the fact that our blood was being thinned by the beer we all felt a bit nippy. Shama was supposed to be meeting us there at some point but couldn't stay long as he had to pick up his girlfriend at 6. In the end she got an earlier train and so he had to pick her up instead of meeting us, but he found us a bit later and we sat around for a while. Bradley had to go back to his with Hayley to cook din dins so he dropped me and Dicky at our respective houses and said to go to his at 9 for watching films. In the meantime I had a steak and chips whilst watching Scrubs after my parents had gone to see my sister in a play of some sorts. Shama arrived at mine around 9ish with Dicky and Michelle and we went down the road so that Dicky could buy some more beers.
We watched Dukes of Hazzard (after which Shama and Michelle left), White Chicks and Versus which confused Hayley quite a bit. Bradley liked the cinematography in it but had to do cooking so didn't get to see most of it. Dicky was also in the kitchen but I called him in for the crazy cat bloke which he found entertaining. Dicky and I stayed in the room off the lounge in the fold out bed which got really hot in the morning because it was really sunny. After we'd woken up Bradley made some awesome toasted bacon sandwiches and we took the new dog, Bonnie, for a walk and also delivered some fliers. Whilst on the subject, the dog is somewhat temporamental and tried to nip me and Dicky a few times but usually she's fine. However, she did go insane at one point and started running round in a circle in the garden as fast as she could coupled with running through the pond and digging a hole all super fast. That was quite funny.
After that me, Bradley, Dicky and Hayley went to the field opposite to play football. Hayley was pretty bored and sat on the grass while we fannied about. I didn't help matters by trying to direct a ball around her that Bradley had kicked but it ended up hitting her square in the face. I apologised profusely and at first she was (understandably) angry but after about 10 minutes she blamed her glasses for attracting the ball to her face. I'm still quite annoyed at myself though. We also had a BBQ at some point, I think it was before we came to play football and that was when Bonnie tried to bite me. I'd gone to get a drink and came back to sit down at which point she started growling at me. She then stopped so I sat down and she attacked my hand, although I think she just headbutted it instead of biting because I didn't really feel anything. Bradley wasn't very happy and she slunk under a chair to escape his shoutings. After football Bradley dropped me and Dicky at my house because the road from Northwood to Ricky was completely congested so I offered to take Dicky home because Bradley had to take Bonnie to dog classes - I think they learn maths. I drove Dicky home in difficulty as the big toe on my right foot doesn't bend after I play football for an extended period of timing so pulling off and braking was quite difficult. I made it safely nonetheless although at one point I did realise that my driving could lead to an accident, but I supressed these thoughts and continued onwards.

On Saturday (going back into the past) Adam came round and we went to Bradley's although we couldn't go in the house because it was dark and Bonnie might've gone crazy so we first stood outside, then Pete (Bradley's brother) brought some chairs out so we sat outside. We eventually set up our chairs on the pavement outside Bradley's house in order to deter the doggers in the car park opposite where Adam's car was parked. Sure enough they left with puzzled expressions on their faces as did every other car that drove past, even the police car. That same police car followed me and Adam on the way to drop me off so he drove to the letter of the law and they went t'other way at the round-a-bout. Other than those excursions I haven't really been doing too much, I finally started Final Fantasy XII and it's pretty darn amazing. The first proper monster I had to fight was this cheeky fellow called Rogue Tomato. The whole battle system has been changed which I was quite worried about but it's worked out very well and is more fun that then previous methods. I can't stop thinking what the next installment will be like on the PS3.

I had a lecture at uni on Monday but I didn't bother going because it seems stupid to go up there just for 1 hour a week but I might go up and come back the same day next Monday. Or I could just get someone else to take the notes and copy them when I see them again. I also have to submit a dissertation topic by the end of the month which is quite serious because I have to write 10, 000 words about it. I might do something on South American Prisons and link everything to Prison Break. I shall further deliberate on the matter.

I also waxed my car today which took about an hour because I always put too much on and then it takes longer to get it off, but it looks a lot better now.

I had a nightmare last night, I was in what seemed like my house and I saw a light turn on upstairs which was strange because everyone in the house was downstairs. I went to investigate and turned it off which led to another light being turned on which was in my room. I went inside and saw 5 glasses of water around the edges of my bed which seemed strange because I didn't remember putting them there. Eventually I realised that a ghost had done it and as I was trying to sleep (in my dream) I kept being woken up by the ghost which scared me somewhat. I can't remember what else happened but I remember waking up with a large sense of foreboding and covered in sweat. Lovely. Anyway, I can't remember the rest of my dreams which implies that they were less exceptional and more warm.

Today's lectures were quite tiresome, the first one started off with a 40 minute video about evil (again) and what can be described as evil. After that had finished we had to create a list of evil acts in ascending order which we found was a bit difficult. There were so many actions that could come under multiple categories so we managed to decide on the worst 2 (Genocide and pre-meditated murder, even though we went back to say that because acts of genocide are usually carried out by minions who didn't concoct the original idea and the perpetrator isn't carrying out the acts themselves so they both have diminished responsability and knowledge of it. Yes, my course can be boring) and left the rest of the list. The lecturer agreed that it's more or less subjective how you see certain crimes and if you're a victim of a certain type of crime it's more likely you'll have a feeling about it.
I had an hour break between the end of that lecture and the start of the next one so I went home where I found Barry looking tired on the sofa. He'd gone to pick up a friend from Coventry airport last night gotten lost, paid £14 for two measly breakfasts from a service station and didn't get back here until 5am. Needless to say he didn't get up at 10 the next morning for his lecture which I thought would be quite fun in a surreal way. I had a shepherd's pie in the break which was splendid as ever. The next lecture was alright, they're usually quite light hearted as there are usually only 6 people there and the lecturer is wickedcoolsafe.

On my way back from this lecture I was accosted by a madman named Gooders who has been known to wear a colander when drunk and lived with 2 german drug dealers until he moved out when they took over the house. He told me that Jordan had gone to his house and told him to make him some food, to which he quite rightly refused. He soon left and I returned home where I have watched TV and hidden Jordan's turkey leg in the foot stool after he left it cooking in the oven - ultimate jokes.
The weather this morning was beautiful, it could have been summer however, it has recently turned crap and looks like it could rain at any moment. At least it gave me a prequel to the summer where sun and fun may live (albeit in rented accommodation).

No more lectures until Monday now so it looks like it will be another relaxing weekend where I will most likely either try to start Final Fantasy XII or leave it until I get the guide so I can check out the best stuff.

Dones.

Oh yeah, I also found a picture next door to my lecture room who looked somewhat like Brick Tamland. It was even funnier because I had just watched Anchorman on Sky Movies and his image was still fresh in my mind.

Today started quite funnily as I played a game with this cat. I peeked through my curtains to see what the weather was like and saw the cat sitting by the window so I jumped through the curtains to get his attention. Then I hid behind the curtains again and repeated the process. It was extremely funny, for both parties. After that I had a very quick breakfast of toast with a topping of sausages & hoops and a cup of tea, I say quick because I had to leave as soon as I had finished (9:45). The lecturer didn't turn up until 10:20 and naturally we were all discussing leaving, however, I appointed myself stand-in lecturer and gave out the orders. Shortly after I had told everyone that they had all got top marks, the real lecturer came in, somewhat flustered and lamented the life of a lecturer. She also said that if she had been at home she would be preparing a spliff already (I forgot to mention she told us in a previous lecture that she smokes cannabis every day) so I could tell it would be an entertaining lecture. In the end it only lasted about 30 minutes and we (I) just put the data from some more questionnaires people had gotten back into the computer. I was inputting all the data on the lecturer's (not so) special computer which was wired up to the projector so the rest of the class could see what I was typing which led me to type random stuff instead of the figures a girl was reading out. It was funny. After I had input all the data she said we should call it a day and so I came back home and have had a shower and in the process of washing my clothes. The tap has been turning itself on again frequently today, i've already turned it off thrice and Barry had the pleasure once, i'm sure it's not finished its antics yet though. Jordan has also just put his stuff out on the washing line so I expect it will rain/snow/hail any time soon. I also watched the whole of Peep Show Series 3 after getting back from the lecture, they're all available here . It's still brilliant but it seemed so much shorter than the other 2 series, although I didn't watch them back to back.
Other than uni i've been home the past 2 weekends, the first was because my dad had a skydiving simulator thing booked on Sunday in Milton Keynes which was very funny, luckily they DVD'd it so he had a chance to look at his bizarre facial expression. Last weekend I went to see the Chuckle Brothers which was hilarious because there were plenty of mistakes (not all their fault) and they couldn't stop laughing when things went wrong. For instance, they were trying to find out what the time was after they'd been woken up in the middle of the night so Barry blew a trumpet and someone shouted back "Who's blowing that trumpet at 2 o'clock in the morning?" so they knew it was 2am. The next time they tried it Barry started laughing and so couldn't blow the trumpet, instead a cacophony of splutters followed. It finally ended with somone off stage saying "Who's trying to blow a trumpet at 2 o'clock in the morning?". Later on Barry was crawling along what was supposed to be the roof of an old stone castle, and put his weight on one of the pillars which fell down and he looked like he was going to have a heart attack. Everyone in the audience started pissing themselves, as did the brothers themselves. I also got covered in shaving foam by one of the actresses, which I thought was kind - this was the result. Overall it was a brilliant show once again, they're always good value for money.

There was a crash outside just now, I couldn't really see much but it didn't seem too serious, I also offended someone on Monday by saying that no-one likes Stoke, at first they were angry because they lived here but they eventually gave in to my way of thinking. Anyway, last night a tragedy occurred, my chair broke. It had a small rip down the side but when I went to pick something up from the floor it completely died. More evidence. Now I have to make do with my old (and crappy) computer chair that was here already, i'll have to inform my parents that it's broken very easily and the person that sold it must be a cowboy joker.

Later tonight is the final matches of the Champions League last 16 which will be interesting after last nights results and events, such as a Valencia player (David Navarro) punching and Inter player (Nicolas Burdisso) in the face and breaking his nose at the end of the match. It was quite an event. We also watched Borat The Movie again after Barry bought it on DVD from Tesco, it wasn't as funny as the first time but I didn't watch it from the beginning as I was watching the Champions League highlights.

Well, I hope this chain of words has entertained you sufficiently.
